Bonjour a tous!
When in Paris, do as the Parisians, take a nice stroll…, eat something…, have a drink… stroll some more…, eat…, drink…
Als je in Parijs bent , doe dan zoals de Parisiens, slenter een beetje rond,… eet iets,… drink iets,… slenter nog een beetje verder…eet iets…, drink iets…
The first stop for us is often restaurant Le Relais de l’Enrecote @ • Paris VIII • 15,rue Marbeuf
The best Steak + mustardsauce+ handcut french fries + old fashioned salad as a starter! The waitresses all dressed in those cute outfits and everybody eats the same. The only thing you can choose is how your steak is cooked and what wine you want to have. They give 2 servings on small plates. No reservations are taken, so go early or go late or queue. They have 3 restaurants in Paris, 1 in Genève
We had lunch @ Ma Cocotte, definitely a place to see and be seen. French cuisine, good not great and small portions. It will be great in summer when all carport windows are open!
The fleamarket itself is always a joy with rare findings. You could decorate the filmsets of ‘A Single Man’ AND ‘Queen Elisabeth’ all in one day with what they sell here. Prices are rather high because of all the Americans that love to come and shop here.

Right around the corner of the new Hermès store, in and around the Rue du dragon, you have 5 Italian restaurants, all with very good resumés. We tried’ L’Altro’, because ‘Al Dente’ (38, rue du Varenne) was closed and we will certainly be back!
